How to Crack JEE Advanced Exam in 2023


Joint Entrance Examination-(JEE-Advanced) initially known as IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination). It is the most prestigious academic examination conducted for engineering field aspirants. JEE Advanced Exam is the only prerequisite for admission to IITs of India in the Bachelor’s program. This examination is conducted once a year and is generally in June. JEE- Advanced 2023 important dates are in 3rd week of June. The JEE Advanced examination’s sole purpose is to evaluate the theoretical and conceptual knowledge and aspirants' reasoning ability, comprehension skills, and analytical power.

JEE Advanced is the second round of JEE. It is the national-level engineering qualifying examination conducted by the NTA for all the 23 IITs on a rotational basis every year. The aspirants 1st need to qualify for JEE MAINS as it is the eligibility test for JEE Advanced.

Importance of JEE Advanced 2023:

JEE-Advanced is the qualifying examination conducted by the IITs for getting a seat in prestigious IITs. Those who qualify in JEE main now become eligible to take up JEE Advanced examination. In other words, JEE mains is the eligibility test for taking JEE Advanced Exam.

JEE Advanced exam notification:

The exam date for JEE MAINS is yet to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 2023 and JEE Advanced is 3rd week of June 2023.JEE Advanced Exam is pretty tough and requires rigorous preparations and revision. It is advisable that the aspirants should not start with any new topic in the last week of preparation. Hence! The last 4 weeks should be dedicated to the revision of the topics and solving practice test papers . Eligibility Criteria:The eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced examinations are as follows:-

      • The candidates should be less than 25 years of age as per the appearing year
      • The candidate can take up the examination twice in 2 consecutive years

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern is a computer-based examination conducted in two papers paper 1 and paper 2. The exam duration is 3 hours. The NTA authorities generally release the Application online form for more details log on to jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE advanced pattern includes details like marking style, mode of examination, the total number of questions, time durations, etc. Every year the exam pattern is the same, with minor changes. The exam authority for JEE Advanced 2023 is expected to be Guwahati IIT.
