Introduction

The institution is a deemed university, focusing on higher education and research in engineering and sciences. It is one of the first six institutes in India to be granted Institute of Eminence status. Established in its present form in 1964, the university has campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The institute becomes the 1st international deemed university after it expanded to Dubai.

Admission

Admission Process –

The institute looks for professionals who have the necessary computer, laboratory, and other physical facilities, including access to email and the Internet. The professional's educational history, academic achievements, work profile, relevant work experience, employing organization profile, and mentor profile would all be taken into consideration before making the final acceptance offer for the WILP program. Upon receipt of the application package, the admissions cell will review the candidature and scrutinize the application form and the supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Professionals can track the application status online.

If the application meets all necessary eligibility criteria, the professionals will receive a notification of admission offer through the application status tracker. Professionals will also receive an email notification about the status of their application.

The professionals will receive admission offers online. Once they accept the offer, they need to pay the admission and semester fees. After the professionals successfully pay both fees, they will receive further communication confirming the class schedule and will be given access to online learning resources. Once the professionals accept the admission offer and confirm registration, any request for deferment of admission to a subsequent semester cannot be entertained. They can only withdraw from the registered semester.
