Admission

Admission

• Step 1: Visit the official website of SRM University.
• Step 2: Register and log in with the provided email ID and password.
• Step 3: Complete the application form and attach the necessary details such as a scanned copy of the signature, colored photograph, class X mark sheet & XII mark sheet (size not more than 500 kb).
• Step 4: Successful submission of the application form will depend upon the payment of the application fee.
• Step 5: For online registration or downloaded forms, candidates need to pay INR 1100 either through e-payment or DD.
• Step 6: However, the cost for the offline application form obtained from the university office is INR 1160.
• Step 7: Upon successfully submitting the application form, students need to save their application number for future reference.

Placement:

SRM University recently concluded its 2021 placement drive in which reputed recruiters made 7111 placement offers. Around 600 recruiting companies participated & made 2000 dream offers & super dreams offer to the students. Major recruiters include Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Cognizant made the highest number of placement offers, followed by TCS. Students received the highest CTC package of INR 35 LPA, which declined compared to Placements 2020.

Scholarships

The institution provides scholarships to students on a merit and needs basis. Scholarships' names are given below:

• Merit Scholarship: Fee waiver of 50% for students with above 95% in CBSE or State Board examinations.
• Founder's Scholarship: Full waiver on books, tuition, hostels & mess, plus a stipend of Rs.1 000 per month to top state, JEE, SRMEEE & AIEEE rankers, sportspersons, and socio-economic disdained.
• Merit-cum-means Scholarship: 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver is provided to economically challenged students based on their performance in the qualifying examination.
• Scholarships for special merits: Scholarship with tuition fee waivered up to 100% is offered to some of the students owning exemplary skills in literary debating, fine arts, and others.

1. Is there any dress code at SRM University?
   • Yes, there is a dress code in the University that depends on the department.
2. What is the procedure for withdrawal of Admission?
   • Write an application to the University office with the signature of the HOD of your department. However, there is no guarantee of fees withdrawal.
3. Is there any upper age limit for PG Programs?
   • No, there is no upper age limit for PG Programs. And the same applies to UG Programs and other programs too.
4. Am I an NRI Student? Is there any different procedure for NRI Students?
   • The application procedure is the same for NRI students. However, the fees are different for NRI Students.
