Introduction

On April 15, 2015, GLS University in Ahmadabad opened its doors to students. The Gujarat Law Society is in charge of running the GLS University. The University Grants Commission (UGC)has awarded the university with a grant of recognition. The institution welcomes students into a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs that are associated with a wide range of academic fields. Over 25,000 students are now enrolled at the university after being accepted into the school's educational program. GLS University provides its students and the faculty members of the institute with a variety of academic and infrastructural facilities. These facilities include an IT-enabled campus, academic blocks, classrooms, discussion and seminar halls, library, sports, gym, hostels, computer lab, canteen, auditorium, etc. Ellis bridge is the neighborhood in which GLS University, Ahmedabad can be found. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is the closest airport to the institution. It is situated 12 kilometers away, and it will take students around 20 minutes to get from the airport to the campus. The Ahmedabad Railway Station is the station that is closest to the campus of the institution. The GLS (Gujarat Law Society) and GLS University both use a merit system for their online admissions. In order to enroll in some classes, candidates are required to pass an entrance test. The institution is home to nine departments that together provide a total of 28 educational opportunities, some of which include BBA, BCom, and MCom degrees. These programs are available at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels and may be pursued in a variety of fields, including science, management, and commerce, among others. In addition to the degree programs, the institution provides students with opportunities to earn certificates and diplomas in a shorter amount of time. Scholarships are given out by the university to those of its students who have achieved rankings in the top 50 on the Gujarat University exams. These scholars are honored for their academic achievement. It is possible that it will cover the whole or a portion of the tuition for the next semester.

GLS University provides students with a variety of financial aid options, and these options vary depending on the student's merit, the student's family's financial situation, and the socioeconomic status of the student.

• Students that fall into one of the categories of "Socio-economically Backward Class," "Schedule Caste," or "Schedule Tribe" are eligible to apply for a scholarship that is being provided by GLS University.
• A more developed Merit-Cum-Means policy has also been implemented at the university for students who excel academically.
• On an individual basis, GLS University provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to students who are physically challenged. In general, the plan is to give students who are struggling financially and academically priority for admission and to set aside some of the available spots for them.
