National Defence Academy (NDA) or Naval Academy (NA) is conducted by (UPSC) Union Public Service Commission and is a national competitive examination that is held twice a year. For the year 2023 the UPSC will roll out a notification for NDA 1 2023 and exam dates would be 16th April 2023 and NDA 2 2023 will be conducted on 3rd September 2023. Candidates who get selected in the NDA examination can take admitted to Army, Air Force, or Navy through National Defence Academy or (INAC) Indian Naval Academy Course.

National Defence Academy conducts an examination by the UPSC governing body. The NDA exam in India is held twice a year for choosing wings like NDA, IAF, and Navy. The aspirants take a written test followed by an SSB interview. The application is filled out online but the examination is done in offline mode. The medium of the test is Hindi and English where the questions are objective type.

The Examination also has negative markings with every wrong answer there is a deduction of 1 third of the total marks. The NDA examination is a national-level competitive exam that is held across 70 cities in India. The NDA exam is based on Mathematics, General Ability Tests, and SSB interview. The mathematical test is 2 and half hours with 300 marks, General Ability Test is of 600 with a paper time duration is 2and a half hours and SSB is 900 marks. 1. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th Grade

NDA 2023 Syllabus is vast and has many topics to be covered in, for appearing in NDA examinations. The National Defence Academy exam is conducted by UPSC with keeping the emphasis on Mathematics topics viz. Integral Calculus, Matrices, and Determinants, Vector Algebra, Differential Equations, statistics, etc., and General Aptitude Tests based on English grammar, comprehension of unseen passages, social studies, current affairs, geography, Chemistry, and general knowledge questions.

NDA 2023 Admit Cards are usually given to candidates three (3) weeks before the examination date. NDA 2023 Exam pattern is based on MCQ and it is conducted through offline mode all across India.

2. Age Should be between 16.5.years to 19.5 years

NDA Examination can be taken up by the candidates who have completed 16 years 6 months of their age and can be eligible up to 19years 6months. The main objective of the selection age is to fish out the fittest and healthy brains in the country. The aspirants go through tough screening procedures and physical fitness tests like Skipping, Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes, Chin-ups: Minimum 08, Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each, and Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters. 3. Indian Nationals with Marital status as Unmarried

For appearing in NDA Examination the aspirants need to be unmarried with appearing 10+2 grade appearing or passed the examination. NDA Exam Eligibility is that the aspirant should be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years with unmarried marital status.

NDA Selection Procedure 2023 Services Selection Board (SSB Interview):

SSB interview is one of the most challenging tests for Defence aspirants who qualify in NDA written examinations. The selection procedure is of 5 days followed by psychological tests, personal info questionnaire, a word association test, a thematic appreciation test, a scenario reaction test, and a self-description test. Individual Obstacles, Final Group Task, final board conference, and announcement of results, etc are done on the 5th day.
