Introduction

Christian Medical College, Vellore (CMC Vellore) is a private, Christian minority community-run medical college and hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. This institute includes a network of primary, secondary, and tertiary care hospitals. Dr. Ida S. Scudder, an American missionary, founded the institute in 1900. The CMC Vellore has brought many significant achievements in the country. Admission

CMC Vellore eligibility

• Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent examination with the following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• A minimum of 50% marks is required in the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination.
• Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before December 31st of the said year.
