Admission
A centralized admission process is followed for AIIMS Jodhpur nursing admission. AIIMS Delhi conducts the admission process. AIIMS Delhi releases the admission details prior to the commencement of the admission process.
Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS Jodhpur nursing eligibility criteria vary UG and PG-wise. The application notice includes details related to eligibility.
BSc Course
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission.
- The candidates must have passed the 12th grade under the 10+2 scheme, Senior School Certificate Examination, Intermediate Science, or an equivalent examination from a recognized university or board of any Indian state with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
MSc Course
- BSc (Hons.) Nursing/BSc Nursing (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic/BSc Nursing (4 years) course from any recognized university, from an educational institution recognized by the State Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates (55% marks in the case of SC/ST candidates).
- Registration as a nurse, RN, or RM (registered nurse, registered midwife) with any state nursing council.
Application Process
- The AIIMS Jodhpur nursing application process is an online application for both UG and PG level courses.
- Once the candidate applies, the institute sends a status update (accepted and not accepted) on basic registration.
- The students have the option to correct any deficiencies in their application. The students need to correct the application form within the dates provided for correction.
- The institute determines the final status of basic registration (accepted or rejected).
- A code for final registration is generated.
- Only those who have generated a code for final registration can proceed with the final registration process, which includes paying fees and choosing a city.
- The final status of the application is uploaded. If the application is rejected, then the reason for the rejection is also uploaded.
- During the application process, candidates must upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Admission Process
- Admission to UG and PG courses is made entirely on the basis of the performance of candidates at the AIIMS Jodhpur nursing entrance exam conducted by AIIMS Delhi.
- The entrance exam for UG is conducted in all major cities in India. Whereas, PG courses are conducted in Delhi/NCR only.
- The counseling process is conducted once the candidates clear the entrance exam. Various rounds of counseling are conducted until the seats are filled.
- Seat allocation for admission in various BSc courses is held in online mode, details of which are placed on the official website of AIIMS Delhi.
