Introduction

Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) is a government medical institution in the city of Rohtak, Haryana. It was established in 1960. PGIMS Nursing Eligibility Criteria

BSc Nursing

    • The minimum age for candidates desirous of seeking admission should not be less than 17 years old as of December 31st of the admitting year.
    • The candidate must have passed the Senior School Certificate examination (10+2) of the Board of School Education, Haryana, or any Board recognized by the Central Government or any State Government with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Core/Elective and should have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for the SC/BC/PWBD category) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCB & E) taken together. However, the candidates should have obtained pass marks in each subject separately.

Post Basic BSc Nursing –

    • The candidate must have passed the Senior School Certificate examination (10+2) of the Board of School Education, Haryana, or any board recognized by the Central Government or any state government.
    • Should have passed the GNM examination from any recognized institute by INC and registered as GNM with any state nursing council.

MSc Nursing

    • The candidate must have passed BSc Nursing, BSc (Honours) Nursing, or Post Basic BSc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% in the case of SC/BC/PWBD candidates).
    • Must be a registered nurse or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
    • Must have a minimum of 1 year of work experience from a recognised medical college or registered hospital (registered with the state government) with a minimum 100 beds.

PGIMS Nursing Application

The candidates need to apply online through the official website of the university.

During the process of the online application, the candidates need to pay the counseling fee as prescribed and upload the necessary documents.

PGIMS Nursing Entrance Exam

Candidates whose applications are approved can download the admit card from the official website by using their login credentials.

During the online application notice, the university informs the applicant of the date of the entrance exam. The candidates need to appear for the entrance exam on the date prescribed.

PGIMS Nursing Admission

    • The allotment of the institute or course for PGIMS nursing courses is made strictly as per merit, prepared or drawn on the basis of the qualifying examination (CET), online centralized counseling, and the choice or preference of the subject, course, or institute filled up by the candidate on the online portal.
    • The choice of course or institution exercised by the candidates on the online portal is considered final. The candidates can fill up the choices during the counseling process.
    • The personal appearance of the candidates with all original documents is compulsory at the time of reporting to the admissions committee for PGIMS Rohtak nursing programs.
