Introduction
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Kalyani) is a public hospital and medical school in Kalyani, West Bengal. It is one of the AIIMS and Institutes of National Importance. On 24 January 2018, it was established by the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The institute offers MBBS and nursing courses.

BSc Course
- The candidates should be Indian citizens.
- The candidates must be 17 by December 31 of the year of admission.
- The candidates must have passed the 12th grade under the 10+2 scheme, Senior School Certificate Examination, Intermediate Science, or an equivalent examination from a recognized university or board of any Indian state with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
MSc Course
- The candidates must have completed a BSc (Hons.) Nursing, BSc Nursing (Post-Certificate), Post-Basic, or BSc Nursing (4 years) course from any recognized university, from an educational institution recognised by the State Nursing Council, with 60% marks for general, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates, and 55% marks for SC and ST candidates.

Application
AIIMS Delhi conducts a centralized admission process for nursing admission at all the AIIMS. Every year, AIIMS Delhi releases the prospectus for nursing courses before the application process starts. AIIMS Delhi releases a separate prospectus for the BSc and MSc courses. Candidates need to apply online at the AIIMS Delhi website for the AIIMS Kalyani nursing application process. A status is sent on basic registration once the candidates apply.
Candidates have the option to make changes to their applications for a specified period of time. The institute determines the final status of basic registration. A code for final registration is generated. Only those who have generated a code for final registration can proceed with the final registration process, which includes paying fees and choosing a city. The final status of the application is uploaded. If the application is rejected, then the reason for the rejection is also uploaded. The necessary documents need to be uploaded during this process.
Admission
Admission to the nursing courses is made entirely on the basis of the performance of candidates at the AIIMS Kalyani nursing entrance exam conducted by AIIMS Delhi. All major cities in India conduct the UG entrance exam. Only Delhi/NCR conducts the entrance exam for PG courses. The counseling process begins after the release of the merit list, which is based on the entrance exam score.
Multiple rounds of counseling are conducted until the seats are filled. Seat allocation for admission in various BSc courses is held in online mode, details of which are placed on the official website of AIIMS Delhi.
