Introduction

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains and advanced, which are held all over India and are based on the marks scored, are the only tests that are considered for admission consideration. Counselling is provided, and students are allowed to select the colleges that they wish to attend. The minimum score required to be accepted into first-generation IITs like IIT Bombay for top departments like Computer Science Engineering is exceptionally high. However, there are some exceptions made for students who fall into certain categories and who have limited financial resources. Fee reductions of up to one hundred per cent are made available to the students.

IIT Bhilai is one of the newest IITs, having only opened its doors in the year 2016. There are a combined total of twenty undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programmes available at the institution. It has just began offering a Bachelor of Technology degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence beginning in the year 2020. Scores on entrance tests like the JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM, UGC NET, and CSIR NET are taken into consideration for admission to any academic programmes offered by IIT Bhilai.

IIT Bhilai is known for its pre-placement workshops, which have resulted in more than seventy-five employment opportunities being presented to the B.Tech. class of 2016-2020. The IIT Bhilai placement campaign included the participation of more than 60 recruiters, and the average CTC offered was INR 11 LPA. The maximum possible bundle is valued at 20 LPA in Indian Rupees.
