The Bachelor of Technology degree at IIT Goa allows students to choose from one of four different concentrations. Candidates are allowed to choose their area of study based on their position in the JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who are interested in entering the programme are expected to get a JEE rank of at least 3100 to be considered for admission. However, the final round of seat allocation does not take place until after the JoSAA Counselling procedure has been completed. In addition, the institution allows BTech students to switch their concentration if they so want.

IIT Goa MTech

The Master of Technology programme is one of the most important postgraduate degrees that can be earned at IIT Goa. The IIT Goa Master of Technology (MTech) programme has a total capacity of 36 students and has three distinct areas of concentration. The GATE scores, in conjunction with the COAP Counselling procedure, are used as the only criterion for admission to the programme. IIT Goa offers its students the opportunity to apply for scholarships as a means of providing financial assistance to its students.
